Gordon Barber's brother-in-law is restoring (or attempting to) a 1925 1/2 Chevy Coupe. The car was built in Oshuwa, and is apparently a 1924 body on 1924 rails, but IS a 1925... The car was owned by his father and was converted to a truck sometime in th 1940's. The father was a self made machinist who worked in the Farm Belt just north of Toronto Ontario, Canada. The Chev has been stripped down and the frame has been cleaned, the motor has been overhauled, the transmission rebuilt, the front axle installed, and the rest of the body is in the throws of rebuilding. He would like some info on the following parts: the metal skirting under the door, a new rear deck lid, and front fenders. You can E-mail him at: abarber@netrover.com

Mike Davey owns a 1929 Chevrolet Tourer that has been restored from scratch. The car has the first 6-cylinder engine, and is blue and black. This car is definitley a resto. You can e-mail him at: maisied@perth.dialix.oz.au

Ken Clark of Armstrong BC, Canada, owns a 1931 5 Window Coupe that is currently undergoin a restoration. The vehicle is in good condition as it stands now, but will require some wood replacement and some new mechanical parts. Ken is interested in a good source for parts and can be E-mailed at: kclark@junction.net

Laird Pettit of Pheonix, AZ owns a 1931 Chevy Independance AE 4-door with a stock body, except for ribbed roof insert. The car has the original frame and steering geometry, and a '69 350 with cam, Holley, and early polished "Offy" manifold, a TH350 with sudden shift plate, a Caddy tip/tilt/extend steering column and a Vega steering box. Laird has fabbed steel door jambs to replace 65 year old wooden body frame members. Laird is looking for left front fenders with spare wheel slot and tirewell brace-frame.
