This is the page for Chevy II/Novas of 1972 or earlier origin, enjoy!
Clay owns a couple of old Novas, the first of wich is a 1962 Chevy II
400 Nova hardtop. This car is in the middle of a restoration, it
will be powered by a 400 small block backed by a powerglide. It is going
to be a "fake" SS, and will be a compromise between a show car
and a streeter. It should be painted fairly soon, with everything being
covered in Candy Apple red. Clay also owns a 1963 Chevy II Nova
hardtop that is very similar to the car above. It was his first car
in 1987, was sold, and was bought back again. Clay maintains a Chevy
II/Nova web site at:
http://www.xmission.com:80/~ratt and his E-mail address is:
ratt@xmission.com
Craig (crash) McCarraher owns a 1962 Nova with a lot of work done
to it. The car is in great condition, and has had a V-8 swap, headers,
cherry paint job, brand new interior, custom wheels, etc. He has no idea
what this car was worth, and the car was given to him so he doesn't know
what it would cost to buy a car like this. You can E-mail him at: mccarra@ix.netcom.com
David Palm owns a 1962 Nova 400
2sr HT that originally had a 194 I-6, but now has a 250 I-6 backed
by the original Powerglide. It needs a body resto, but is still driven
daily.
Erik Fornehed of Sweden owns a 1963 Chevy Nova. He's working on a 350
with Trick Flow heads and lots of other goodies. Anyone out there with a
front-sump oil pan, oil pump, and pickup, please E-mail him. His adress
is: erik.fornehed@mailbox.swipenet.se
Larry Artz of Nashua NH, owns two Chevy II wagons, the first of which is
a 1963 Chevy II Nova 3-seat wagonthat is white with a blue
interior and is powered by an I-6 with a powerglide trans. This car has
been a chapter pick at the Nova Nationals in Pennsylvania held by
National Nostalgic Nova. It is a 3 season daily driver, and has proven
very useful. Larry's other car is a 1967 Chevy II Nova 2-seat wagon
that is green with a black interior. This car was rescued from the
junkyard in 1992 and is undergoing a continous restoration. Larry is now
in the process of locating parts for this car (also a daily driver) to
complete the restoration although the car is pretty sound. Larry loves
these wagons and is always on the lookout for parts for these cars. His
E-mail address is: artz@ll.mit.edu
David O'Connor owns a 1963 Nova that is white on turquoise. The
car has the original 194ci I-6, factory air, a powerglide, and 15"
baby moons. The car is in very good condition, and he will begin the
resto in February 1996. You can E-mail David at: novaSS327@aol.com
