1967-1972 Chevrolet Camaros
This is a page dedicated to the awesome early Camaros, enjoy!
Andy Jackman owns a 1967 Camaro. He would appreciate some help
and ideas about redoing it, as he has a nice 350 waiting to replace the
original 250ci I-6. You can E-mail him at: n9443731@fozzie.cc.wwu.edu
Rick Bensene owns three late 1960's Chevrolets, the first two are on
this page, the '69 Nova is on the Nova
page. The first car is a 1967 Camaro RS/SS 396. This is one of
just 1,138 made in '67 with the L78 375hp 396. He purchased the car in
1980 with 33,000 orig. miles on it. It was in good original condition,
with the only changes being headers/exhaust, and an aluminum water pump.
It now has 38,500 miles on it, Rich has repainted it,
balanced/blueprinted the moter, and some freshening of the interior. The
car came equipped with a Muncie M21, 3.73 Posi 12 bolt, and is Butternut
Yellow, with black vinyl top and black pinstripes & nosestripe. The
car has non-power front disc brakes (he says its lots of fun getting
stopped when really moving!). The second car is a 1969 Camaro Z/28.
He purchased this car in '81 from the original owner with 72,000 miles
on it (now 79,000). All numbers match, and they have the original bill
of sale and protecto plate. The car us LeMans blue with white Z/28
stripes. The car has the original DZ 302 engine, Muncie M21 trans with
factory hurst shifter, and a 3.73 posi 12 bolt. The only thing incorrect
on the car is the lack of the original smog system. (the first owner
chucked it shortly after purchase.) You can E-mail Rick at:

John Robles has owned his 1967 Camaro since 1989, and it has a
327 with a TH350 trans. The car is nantucket blue and has a deluxe
interior with a bench seat and yes, a colum shift. It has no major body
damage, and the one thing that he is looking for was a clock that the
previous owner (1st) took out. You can E-mail John at: rebel71@slip.net
David Redeker is a certifiable Camaro nut, owning four currently, with
the first being a 1967 Camaro pro streeter with a 400ci S.B., the
second is a 1968 Camaro with a 400 S.B. that is for street/strip,
and the third is a 1969 Camaro Z-28 with a 350 and is totally
restored. The fourth is an '87 IROC. David says that the list will be
growing forever. You can E-mail him at: ccaudio@dns.cpbx.net

Michael Purvis owns a '67 Camaro Z28 "war machine". It
needs substancial body work, and he'd eventually like to replace the
stock 250 engine, and redo the interior. Michael would like to know more
about big block engines. The "War Machine" nick is because he
was a Lieutenant in the Canadian Navy, and since the car is heavy, made
of solid steel, and gets about 100 gallons to the mile.... You can
