An Online Road Trip for Kids: The 50 States
The United States of America is truly the land of diversity and this diversity is evident in both the cultures, peoples and environments found in this country. The 50 states are a diverse grouping of lands with all kinds of geographic features and differences from native plant and animal species to climate and terrain. In the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, you will find snow-capped peaks. In Hawaii, you will encounter a string of tropical islands and the blue waters of the Pacific Ocean. You might choose to visit the dry desert of Arizona or other south western states. Or perhaps the temperate climate and the historical significance of the Atlantic Ocean's East Coast peaks your interest. Diversity exists not only in nature but in the groups of people and cultures throughout this wonderful nation so many call home. What better way to experience what the United States has to offer than to partake in a road trip across the 50 states that will allow you to visit landmarks, experience both rural areas and city life, see geologic miracles, and breathe clean air. Such a trip will provide you with memories to last a lifetime.
